Latino Resource Group to Hold First Meeting Today

The mission of the Latino Resource Group is to serve as an advocate group on Hispanic and/or Latino concerns and issues at the University and local community. A dynamic network for Latino staff and faculty members at the University of Arkansas, the Latino Resource Group shall work towards enhancing the Arkansas experience, education, and quality of life of all Latinos at the University through programming, professional development opportunities, and networking.

The Latino Resource Group will hold its first meeting of the fall semester today, Monday, Sept. 24, at noon in the Multicultural Center Conference Room in the Arkansas Union, Room 417. The group will be electing officers, selecting committees, as well as planning for the fall semester. All interested individuals are invited and encouraged to attend. Monthly meetings are held on the third Monday of every month in ARKU-417.
