Science Café to Feature Origins: From Critters to Cosmos

On Tuesday, Sept. 18, the University of Arkansas’ Science Café presents the next installment of Food for Thought.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Powerhouse Restaurant in Fayetteville, the hour and a half discussion will feature three university professors who will discuss topics from the Big Bang to Darwin’s theories of evolution and science. The featured panelists are Daniel Kennefick, professor of physics and member of the Arkansas Center for Space and Planetary Sciences; Peter Ungar professor and chair of the department of anthropology; and Steve Beaupre, professor and chair of the department of biological sciences.

Parking is free, no registration is required and food and drinks will be available for purchase. If needed, 1.5 hours of Arkansas Department of Education professional education credit is available.
