Homecoming Applications Now Being Accepted for Queen

The Homecoming Court represents school spirit and pride for the University of Arkansas. Registered Student Organizations may nominate candidates for the Homecoming Court through noon on Friday, Sept. 21.

Homecoming Court is open to all University of Arkansas women nominated by a registered student organization.

Applications will be reviewed and the top 20 applicants will be notified on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Selected women will be asked to sign up for a slot in the interview process on either Wednesday or Thursday, Oct. 10 or 11. The top 10 will interview again on Wednesday, Oct. 16, or Thursday, Oct. 17. The interview order will be decided on a first come, first serve basis.

The 2012 Homecoming Court will be notified on Friday, Oct. 26. Elections for Homecoming Queen will be held between Monday, Oct. 29, at 9 a.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 4 p.m. through vote.uark.edu.

Homecoming court members will participate in the Homecoming parade, Homecoming pre-game and other events during Homecoming week (Sunday, Oct. 28, through Saturday, Nov. 3).

Applications must be accompanied with a resume and photo. Applications are available online at the ASG website or in the office of student activities (Arkansas Union A665). They must be returned by noon Sept. 21. No late applications will be accepted.
