Artist Matt Miller Displays His Work in Anne Kittrell Gallery

University Programs is hosting an art exhibit by local artist Matt Miller through Friday, Sept. 28, in the Anne Kittrell Art Gallery, located in the University of Arkansas Union.

Miller is a local artist whose work is featured in private collections throughout the region, nation and world. His inspiration stems from living in South America in 2005, a visit to Africa in 2007, and his travels to Colombia in 2009. He is a self-taught artist working with mostly acrylic paint. Miller displays his outlook through thick texture application, bright, bold colors and curiously faceted lines. Miller is the chief executive and chief financial officer of Miller Art & Design, the vice president creative director for pAth outfitters, team leader for Fayetteville Mural Committee, graphic artist for TUTU Couture, and a member of SAKE Production Development Team. Miller was voted Top 10 Artist in Northwest Arkansas in the people’s choice poll by Citiscapes magazine in 2010. His design works with TUTU Couture have been featured in Glamour magazine. Miller graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2007 with a finance degree and minor in marketing.

This free event is sponsored by University Programs Art Gallery Committee and is open to the public. For more information about Matt Miller visit mattmillerstudio.com.
