Applications Available to Fill ASG Senate Vacancies

There are still opportunities for students to fill seats on the ASG Senate. The fall 2012 Senate Vacancy Elections are at-large elections open to all full time University of Arkansas students.

Senators are elected for a term of one academic year. Any questions regarding Senator duties should be referred to Mike Norton, ASG Chair of the Senate, at asgforms.uark.edu starting September 10 and must be submitted by September 13, 2012 by noon. No exceptions will be made for late applications. Paper applications can be picked up at the Office of Student Activities (ARKU A-6. Candidates who applied previously do not have to submit a new one.

Candidates who did not attend a Senate Candidate Informational Session earlier this academic semester must contact Mike Norton  to schedule a session on September 12, 13, or 14. Failure to schedule a session will result in not appearing on the ballot.

Fall Senate Vacancy Elections for the 2012-2013 ASG Senate will be held from 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 17 until 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19. Paper ballots will be made available in the Office of Student Activities (Arkansas Union A665).
