Stress and Change for Supervisors & Managers Seminar

On Tuesday, Sept. 4, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., a representative from the university's Employee Assistance Program will be on campus to give a seminar titled "Stress and Change for Supervisors & Managers."

This seminar will examine the four stages of change and strategies for dealing with those stages: denial, resistance, exploration/emergence and commitment. Supervisors and managers will be invited to look at self care and learning to manage their own stress as a way to begin to help employees manage their stress.

The seminar will be held in the Arkansas Union, Room 510-511 and all university employees are invited to attend. If you are interested in attending this session, please sign up online at http://hr.uark.edu/tcal.asp?EventID=2832.
