Razorback Fan Day Set for Aug. 18

The University of Arkansas football team will hold its annual Fan Day presented by Pepsi on Aug. 18 at Bud Walton Arena and Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The football team will sign autographs from Noon-2 p.m. inside Bud Walton Arena and then conduct a scrimmage inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium beginning at 7 p.m. The scrimmage is free to the public with gates to the stadium opening at 6 p.m. General admission seating for the scrimmage will be available in the lower seating bowl of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Parking for the event is on a first come-first served basis in lots surrounding Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

For the scrimmage, fans will also have the opportunity to use the new digital ticketing system being utilized for football games this season. Season ticket holders are encouraged to bring the special event ticket provided in their season ticket booklet for the pre-season event. Fans without season tickets can print a free ticket online beginning Aug. 13. The tickets will allow fans to become familiar with the new entry procedures at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium prior to the first game.

In addition to autographs and a chance to see the Razorbacks in action, fans also will get a sneak peek of the new videoboard being installed at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Built upon LSI’s SMARTVISION® LED technology, the 16mm video display will be one of the biggest in college football. Measuring at nearly 38’ x 167’ the display will give the stadium a true high definition video display area with the actual width exceeding HD resolution.
