Business Analytics Instruction Offered in August
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Business analysts, project managers and others can sharpen their skills in data collection, access and interpretation through a business analytics certificate course offered by the Information Technology Research Institute and the Center for Management and Executive Education of the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
The program meets Thursdays and Fridays starting Aug. 2 and lasts three weeks. It is the second time that the course, intended for business analysts and project managers to improve their skills, will be offered. Programmers, database administrators, master data analysts and those in sales and marketing who want to improve their data collection skills also would benefit from the program.
The classes will be taught by Paul Cronan, the M.D. Matthews Endowed Chair in Information Systems at the Walton College; David E. Douglas, professor and former chair of the information systems department; and Jeffrey K. Mullins, executive in residence at the Walton College.
Classes for the course will meet Aug. 2-3, Aug. 9-10 and Aug. 16-17.
