Dissertation Kick Start Nominations Now Open

The Graduate School and the 12 doctoral programs that participate in the Doctoral Completion Project have announced the university's first week-long intensive writing program for doctoral students.

Called Dissertation Kick Start, this one-week, on-campus workshop is designed to help doctoral students and their advisers "kick-start" the dissertation writing process, in order to help ensure completion of a student's dissertation. The workshop aims to optimize the student's and adviser's combined efforts and significantly move the writing toward completion.

Up to 20 students will be accepted into the program, which will run from Monday, June 18, to Friday, June 22. Nomination forms and details are available on the Graduate School's home page.
