Staff Senate Employees of the Third Quarter Announced

The Staff Senate wishes to congratulate the University of Arkansas Employees of the 3rd Quarter for the period of January through March 2012.

These Employee of the Quarter recipients were chosen by other staff and faculty to represent staff employees who have gone above and beyond their normal job duties in five distinct categories:

  • Parice Bowser, Greek Life--Professional/Non-Faculty-Academic
  • Shelby Goucher, Entomology--Professional/Non-Faculty-Administrative
  • Jeanne Short, History--Secretarial/Clerical
  • Becky Harris, Biological Sciences--Technical/Paraprofessional
  • Lyndall Watkins, Physical Plant Maintenance Zone 4-D--Skilled Crafts/Service/Maintenance

Each winner receives a certificate, a monetary award, and placement in the pool of candidates considered for the Employee of the Year award.  The campus community is also invited to join the Staff Senate at its regular meeting Thursday, May 10, 9:30 a.m., in Arkansas Union Room 510, to help recognize and celebrate these outstanding University of Arkansas staff members.
