FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Center for Business and Economic Research in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is partnering with the Northwest Arkansas Chambers of Commerce to host a Quarterly Business Analysis breakfast on Friday, May 4. The event will be held at 6:45 a.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development on the campus of the University of Arkansas at 145 N. Buchanan Ave., Fayetteville, Ark.

The cost of the program and breakfast is $35. Preregistration by Wednesday, May 2, is required. Reservations can be made online at http://cber.uark.edu/ or by calling 479-575-4151.

The program will last for approximately 60 minutes including time for questions and answers.

Kathy Deck, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research, will present a program that provides statistical highlights from the first quarter of 2012, key economic trends and projections, and immediate and long-term issues facing the regional and state economy.

“Key investments and strategic planning during the recession and early recovery mean that the Northwest Arkansas economy is poised for a new mix of employment growth. The most recent data on our economy provide a map for regional success in the coming decades,” Deck said.

The purpose of the Quarterly Business Analysis program is to build networks of leaders from business, academic and governmental sectors in the region. The goal is solid and sustainable economic development in Arkansas.

“The Quarterly Business Analysis program is designed to help our community leaders make better informed decisions,” Deck said.
