Deadline is Looming for Faculty to Submit Textbook Adoption Lists

The University of Arkansas Bookstore is issuing a final request to faculty members,asking that all outstanding textbook adoptions be submitted on or before April 1 to be in compliance with Act 175. At this time, there are outstanding adoptions pending for approximately 306 classes for the summer 2012 term and approximately 1,513 classes for the fall 2012 term.

In order to provide faculty members with a more effective information system for the textbook adoption process, the Bookstore has developed the following website: http://bookstore.uark.edu/adoption/

This website will provide:

a: Various textbook adoption methods

b: Contact information

c: Missing adoption list, sort-able by colleges and departments

d: University textbook adoption policy

e: Act 175 of 2007

f:  Historical textbook adoption list
