Nominations Sought for Student Leader of the Month

The Student Leader of the Month award recognizes a University of Arkansas undergraduate student for their excellence in leadership through campus involvement leadership activities or through volunteer and community service programs.

The office of First Year Experience would like to invite nomination of students whom you believe fit the following qualifications.

Criteria for Nominated Student:

  • Good academic and disciplinary standing with the University of Arkansas.
  • Exemplifies leadership through personal development, organizational leadership, citizenship and community building.

All nomination forms should be submitted to Dare Chronister, First Year Experience program assistant, Arkansas Union Room A688, or via email at ldchroni@uark.edu by the first Friday of each month. Nominations are reviewed by staff members who will select winners. Any student not selected will be kept on file and considered for alternative months.
