ASG Spring Vacancy Senate Elections Now Available

Individuals enrolled in the Fay Jones School of Architecture, the Graduate School, the School of Law, or the College of Education and Health Professions interested in running for vacant seats on the Associated Student Government Senate can pick up packets to apply at the office of student activities (Union A665).

The Associated Student Government Senate has vacancies that are college based positions and open to any university student who meets co-curricular requirements and are enrolled in the Fay Jones School of Architecture, the Graduate School, the School of Law, or the College of Education and Health Professions

The spring vacancy elections time-line is as follows:

  • Applications available Jan. 30
  • Mandatory candidate informational session Feb. 3 
  • Applications due Feb. 6 by noon
  • Campaigning starts Feb. 6 at 5 p.m.
  • Voting begins Feb. 8 at 9 a.m.
  • Voting concludes Feb. 9 at 4 p.m.
  • Uncertified election results posted to ASG website Feb. 9 by 10 p.m.
  • Financial disclosure and election violation complaint forms due Feb. 10 by noon
  • Newly elected senators attend first senate meeting Feb. 14
