Hughes Accepted Into Harvard Summer Program

Claretha Hughes, an associate professor of workforce development at the University of Arkansas, has been accepted to attend a highly competitive two-week management development program at Harvard University this summer.

The program prepares participants to be better leaders and to make more valuable contributions to broader institutional goals, according to the description online. It is offered by the professional education unit of the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Hughes joined the College of Education and Health Professions faculty in the fall of 2004. In addition to teaching and conducting research, she directs the college's Honors Program. She holds a doctoral degree in career and technical education from Virginia Tech and also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.
