Lecture to Look at Increasing Productivity in Higher Education

Matthew M. Chingos, a fellow at the Brown Center on Education Policy at the Brookings Institution, will speak at noon Feb. 10 on the University of Arkansas campus about "Increasing Productivity in Higher Education."

Chingos' lecture is part of the series sponsored by the department of education reform in the College of Education and Health Professions. It will be in Room 343 of the Graduate Education Building.

Chingos studies education politics, economics and policy at both the K-12 and postsecondary levels. His first book, Crossing the Finish Line: Completing College at America’s Public Universities, co-authored with William G. Bowen and Michael S. McPherson, was published by Princeton University Press in September 2009.
