Registration for Dec. 10 Sports Medicine Symposium Available Online

The sixth annual Razor Fitness Sports Medicine Symposium set for Dec. 10 at the University of Arkansas focuses on integrating the kinetic chain approach into injury evaluation and rehabilitation. Registration can be done online.

The symposium offers 8 continuing education units and a continental breakfast. Keynote speakers are Dr. Tim Uhl, associate professor and director of the Musculoskeletal Laboratory at the University of Kentucky, and Aaron Sciascia, the program coordinator for the Lexington Clinic Orthopedics-Sports Medicine Center as well as coordinator of the Shoulder Center of Kentucky.

The symposium will take place in Room 311 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building on the Fayetteville campus. Registration will close Dec. 8

The symposium is presented by Northwest Health System and the University of Arkansas Biomechanics Group. The fee schedule: $130 for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants; $80 for certified athletic trainers, physical therapists, and strength and conditioning specialists; $45 for certified student athletic trainers, professors, coaches and teachers; and $15 for students.
