Emmy-Winning Documentary to Be Shown at Hobbs State Park Conservation Area

A Bridge to War Eagle: Stories of a Wild Stream, a documentary crafted by the Emmy-winning team of Larry Foley and Dale Carpenter, will be shown in the visitor center at Hobbs State Park Conservation Area at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. The production is a film about a wild stream protected only by the people who use it. County music star Joe Nichols of Rogers narrates the film.

Foley and Carpenter are faculty members in the Walter J. Lemke department of journalism in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.

The Hobbs visitor center is located on Highway 12 just east of the Highway 12 and War Eagle Road intersection. Viewing is free to the public. For more information, call 479-789-5000.
