ASG Fall Vacancy Senate Elections Now Available

Individuals interested in running for Associated Student Government Senate's 10 vacancy seats can pick up packets to apply at the Office of Student Activities (Union A665).

The Associated Student Government Senate has a total of 10 vacancies that are at-large positions and open to any university student who meets co-curricular requirements.

The fall vacancy elections time-line is as follows:

  • Applications available, Oct. 3
  • Mandatory candidate informational sessions, Oct. 12 and 13
  • Applications due, Oct. 19 by noon
  • Campaigning starts, Oct. 21 at 5 p.m.
  • Voting begins, Oct. 25 at 9 a.m.
  • Voting concludes, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m.
  • Uncertified election results posted to ASG website, Oct. 26 by 10 p.m.
  • Financial disclosure and election violation complaint forms due, Oct. 27 by noon
  • Newly elected senators attend first senate meeting, Nov. 1
