FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Vice President for Agriculture Mark Cochran announced recently that two key Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station positions have been filled with the appointment of Elizabeth Dombek as associate director for finance and administration and Nanci Kellams as fiscal operations manager.

Dombek and Kellams have served in those roles in an interim capacity since Feb. 1 when Patty Siebenmorgen transferred from the associate director's position to the position of assistant director of the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station and Agricultural Development Council chief fiscal officer.

Dombek will provide leadership for operation of the business office and will contribute to strategic planning, policy development and budget management. She had been fiscal operations manager since 1998. She joined the station's staff in 1990 and has held positions as accountant/project director for international agricultural programs and as the experiment station's grants officer. Her new duties include acting as budget officer for Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences.

Dombek is a certified public accountant and has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Arkansas.

Kellams will have responsibility for financial oversight and for reporting to state and federal entities. She will supervise the financial management reports for the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station. Kellams had been assistant fiscal operations manager since 2004. She joined the staff in 2001 as an accountant for the horticulture and entomology departments.

Kellams has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Hendrix College and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Arkansas.
