Midwives for Haiti Screening Set for Tuesday, Sept. 20
Midwives for Haiti, based in Richmond, Va., and the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing at the University of Arkansas present the Arkansas premiere of a short documentary film about the organization that educates Haitian women to provide prenatal care and skilled birth assistance to other Haitian women.
Midwives for Haiti by Dina Maria Munsch will be shown at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the Walker Community Room of the Fayetteville Public Library. After the film, assistant nursing professor Cara Osborne and honors student Kelly Toner will talk about their work with Midwives for Haiti. The event is free and open to the public.
