Memorial Service: Remembering Jo Diercouff

Jo Diercouff, a former University of Arkansas staff member, died Saturday, Aug. 20. She was 73 years old. Born in Illinois in 1938, Diercouff moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1974 and began working as a secretary at the University of Arkansas in 1975. Diercouff worked in the Peabody Hall Children’s Library, the department of DPQA/CISQA, and then Computing Services, now called Information Technology Services. After 25 years of dedicated service to the university, Jo retired in 2000.

Jo is survived by her son, Brian Diercouff, a current IT Services employee, and her daughter, Dawn, as well as her sister, two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Salem Lutheran Church and School.
