Jura Margulis to Perform Liszt Bicentennial Program
University of Arkansas professor Jura Margulis, internationally renowned concert pianist and recording artist will perform a piano solo program at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 8 at the First United Methodist Church of Bentonville, West Central and “A” Street. Margulis' concert will commemorate the bicentennial of the birth year of composer and pianist Franz Liszt.
The program is part of the “A Little Night Music at First” free spring concert series presented by the First United Methodist Church.

Margulis has been recognized for his compellingly communicative performances, as well as for the range of his tonal palette and his consummate virtuosity. Reviewers have praised the “absolute authority” of his interpretations and the sense of “controlled obsession” he transmits at the keyboard.
