“This year is the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and the members of the Distinguished Lecture Series committee wanted to recognize the key event of our generation,” said Tammy Lipert, co-chair of the committee. “We were very pleased that Mayor Giuliani accepted our invitation to speak.”
Giuliani will speak on “Principled Leadership: In the Face of Change and Crisis.”
The Distinguished Lecture Series at the University of Arkansas is a student-sponsored event. The speaker is chosen by a student committee, and the event is funded by a student-approved fee.
