Wall Street Veterans and Award-Winning Authors to Speak at Business and Faith Seminar
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Wall Street veterans and award-winning authors will speak at the “Business 101: What’s Faith Got to Do with It?” seminar, sponsored by the student organization Future Professionals for Faith and Spirituality and the Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace in the Sam M. Walton College of Business.
Peter Ressler, the chief executive officer of Ressler Mitchell Group, New York; and Monika Mitchell, executive director of Good Business International, will discuss how a spiritual renewal in our society can questions of faith left in the wake of the current economic disaster.
The Wall Street financial crisis disrupted some Americans’ faith in their leaders and their business community. Ressler and Mitchell will address how this great American tragedy can be used to re-establish faith and spirituality as the centerpiece for business and working lives. The conference will be held free of charge to students, faculty, staff, business leaders, faith leaders and community members from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, in Willard J. Walker Hall, Room 203.
