iPads Available for Checkout at Mullins Library

Students, faculty and staff at the university are now able to check out iPads from Mullins Library. The two iPads are loaded with the e-book The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot, this year's selection for the One Book, One Community project.

To view the availability of iPads, search the library catalog Infolinks for iPad as a title search, or go to http://library.uark.edu/record=b2738784. The iPad loan period is seven days, non-renewable. No holds or recalls will be issued for the iPads. The late fee fine is $20 per day and the replacement fee is $750.

The iPad checkout system is the result of collaboration between IT Services, Mullins Library and the Student Technology Fee Committee, and is designed to encourage students, faculty and staff to explore the academic benefits of mobile technology.
