Online Magazine Tells Story of Fitness Professional with Polymyositis
The College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas has updated its online magazine, the Colleague, with new feature articles including a profile of Katie Helms, the director of fitness and wellness programs in the department of intramural and recreational sports. Helms has polymyositis, a debilitating autoimmune disease. She ran the Boston Marathon in April, less than two years after her diagnosis.
