Millions to Maintain: A 2010 Campus Facilities Update Via Video

How does a major land-grant research university maintain a campus full of buildings of various ages and conditions? Through ongoing stewardship and the careful planning for the renewal of older facilities and maintenance of all its built campus resources.

The University of Arkansas is making major investments in renewing its facilities. What does this mean? What progress has been made and what’s on the renovation docket for the future?

Mike Johnson, the associate vice chancellor for facilities, addresses these questions in this first video created to educate the campus community and various stakeholders about the status of the university’s facilities program in 2010. Future facilities updates to the campus are being planned and will be presented annually.
