Entomology Student Wins Aubrey E. Harvey Award
Rebecca Trout, an alumna from the department of entomology, was selected as the 2010 recipient of the Aubrey E. Harvey Graduate Research Award by the University of Arkansas chapter of Sigma Xi, the honors research society. The award was announced April 21 at the chapter's annual Initiation and Awards Banquet. Trout completed her doctoral degree in entomology in 2010 and is now a post-doctoral researcher at University of California Davis. The award is a cash award established by the family and friends of Dr. Harvey to honor his commitment to the research programs at the University of Arkansas.
