Fraud Awareness Expert to Speak at University of Arkansas
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace and the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas are sponsoring “The Psychology of Fraud: Why Good People Make Bad Choices” presented by Diann Cattani, an expert on the psychology of fraud.
The presentation will be held from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at the Willard J. Walker Hall Auditorium, at the University of Arkansas campus. The presentation will include refreshments and an insight into why good people make bad choices.
Cattani is a member of the Forensic Investigative Accounting Group and will discuss the issues with fraud in today’s society. Cattani will give a first-hand look into the white collar criminal and the reason why an average person may commit fraud. The presentation will also give information on the relationship between faith, spirituality and ethics within the workplace.
