German Undergraduate Presenting Research on Jewish Culture

German major Maria Marley has had a paper accepted for the upcoming symposium on “Judaism and the South,” sponsored by the Crain-Maling Center of Jewish Culture, and was awarded a travel grant of $400. The presentation will be on Sunday, Feb. 14, at Hendrix College, and the title of Marley’s paper is: "South of the Border: Jewishness in the Strasbourg of Barbara Honigmann." Marley is currently writing an honors thesis with Dr. Jennifer Hoyer of the German section.
