Hodges Reading Room Dedication at Mullins Library

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University Libraries will hold a dedication ceremony for the naming of the Lindley and Kaneaster Hodges Jr. Reading Room (formerly the Periodicals Reading Room) in Mullins Library. Pat and John A. Cooper Jr. of Bella Vista made a $500,000 naming gift to the Libraries to honor the outstanding service of the Hodges and their commitment to the state of Arkansas. Kaneaster Hodges Jr., a former United States Senator, is a member of both the Steering Committee and Executive Committee of the Campaign for the Twenty-First Century and is the chair of the Library subcommittee. Lindley and Kaneaster Hodges Jr. have actively supported cultural events, academic programs and prison education initiatives throughout the state.
