Human Resource Program for Exam Preparation and Professional Growth

ROGERS, Ark. — Registration is now open at the University of Arkansas Global Campus for a 15-session program this fall for human resource professionals who want to hone their skills and prepare for certification exams.

Participants can register online for the Society for Human Resource Management Learning System sessions set for 4:30-7 p.m. Thursdays, Aug. 13 through Nov. 19, live online or in a classroom in Rogers.

The classes are designed as a tool for human resource professionals preparing to take the Professional in Human Resources or the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification exam administered by the Society for Human Resource Management. They are also for those seeking continuing professional development and a broad overview of the field.

This course is offered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management and the Arkansas State Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. Participants can learn online or in a face-to-face environment at the Global Campus facility in Rogers, 3300 Market St., Suite 402.

Participants will increase their knowledge of the field of human resources and explore current human resource practices and competencies. Visit http://shrm.org for 2015 exam costs and application dates.

The course cost of $1,290 includes 15 class sessions, the Learning System books, access to Blackboard Collaborate, an unlimited number of practice tests on www.learnhrm.com, and all recorded sessions. Please note the course investment does not cover registration for certification exams. A 10 percent discount is available to U of A faculty, staff, students and Alumni Association members.
