Log-in to the New UAConnect

Today users are logging into a new, updated student information system. The new UAConnect was brought on-line early this morning following a successful two-year upgrade process.

The most dramatic changes in the system are new navigation and an updated look and feel. The use of tiles creates a faster and cleaner interface for users. This change is based on Fluid technology, and with new technology comes new terminology. Homepages have replaced the Student Center, Faculty Center and Advisor Center. The new Homepages contain the same options as the centers had previously, but they give users a faster and easier way to access the information

A new Administrative User Homepage is now offered in UAConnect. This enhancement allows administrative users in the system to set up tiles based on job needs. In addition to providing Homepages and a new, updated look to UAConnect, Fluid is mobile-friendly. The technology automatically recognizes mobile devices and adapts fluid pages to the correct layout.

While the new system was brought on-line this morning, UAConnect Reporting is still being updated and will be available next Wednesday, Oct. 25. Other than changes in navigation, Query Manager users will see few, if any, differences in the new version.

Users must clear all browser history/cache before logging into the new UAConnect for the first time. Instructions for clearing the history from the recommended browsers — Safari, Firefox and Explorer — are located on the UAConnect help site

The UAConnect Team kicked off this upgrade two years ago. All team members, including those individuals in the technical and functional areas, have spent countless hours updating and testing the new system in order to make the move to the new student information system seamless to the campus community.

What's New in UAConnect, an overview of the system changes, is available on the upgrade website.  Additional instructional material and help aids are also available on the site.
