The School of Art in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences is thrilled to invite all to the Saturday, May 6, grand opening celebration for the new Studio and Design Center in the Windgate Art and District. The center is located in the heart of south Fayetteville at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hill Avenue.

Students, faculty, staff and the Arkansas community will be able to tour the 154,000-square-foot state-of-the-art center that houses the studio art program areas in ceramics, drawing, painting, photography and printmaking, as well as the graphic design program, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 6.

In addition to touring the facility, guests will be able to view senior graphic design and studio art B.F.A. exhibitions and purchase select student art from registered student organizations.

Artsaga's will be open throughout the day offering a free citra-hopped brewed iced coffee, while supplies last, as well as a variety of coffee and refreshments to purchase. Free Pedal Pops will be given out to the first 100 guests.

Parking is limited at the Studio and Design Center, so guests are encouraged to park at Fayetteville High School, 994 MLK Blvd., Fayetteville, with a direct shuttle service to and from the center. The shuttle will be provided throughout time of the event.

School of Art faculty, students and staff look forward to welcoming all to the Studio and Design Center grand opening, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 6.
