The U of A Police Department's SafeZone Mobile Safety App launched its "Wellbeing" function on Monday, bringing the services and resources of the Counseling and Psychological Services and the Substance Education, Assessment and Recovery program closer to you.

As an addition to the safety and security functions of the SafeZone Mobile Safety App, the Wellbeing function gives our faculty, staff and students direct access to the services and resources of CAPS — 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The Wellbeing function also gives access to the resources SEAR offers the U of A community.

With emotional and physical well-being playing an important role in our total health, convenient access to CAPS services and SEAR resources makes it easier for members of our campus community to get help they need, when they need it. Assistance is available at just the click of a button.

To use this very easy function; simply tap on the yellow "Wellbeing" bar on the home screen to be connected with the CAPS website, where you can get information about Counseling and Psychological Services, how to get an appointment at CAPS and additional campus resources available to you. Additionally, all calls placed in the Wellbeing function will go directly to CAPS.
