Humanities Without Walls Summer Workshop on Alt-Ac Careers for Doctoral Students
In summer 2021, Humanities Without Walls will hold a national, virtual, summer workshop for humanities doctoral students interested in learning about alt-academic career paths.
The summer event — which includes workshops, talks and other events, will help "participants learn how to leverage their skills and training towards careers in the private sector, the non-profit world, arts administration, public media and many other fields."

The University of Arkansas can nominate one student applicant for the workshop. To be considered for this nomination, applicants should submit their draft narrative for the workshop and a 2-page CV to tstarks@uark.edu by Oct. 15.
A committee from the University of Arkansas Humanities Center will review the applications. If selected by the committee as the nominee, students must submit the full application by Oct. 31.
