The Office of Student Activities announces Chantel Moseby as the new assistant director for registered student organizations. As part of this new position, Moseby will oversee RSO registration and benefits for more than 350 RSOs on campus as well as advise the Associated Student Government Office of Financial Affairs Board in its RSO funding allocations processes. She will also advise SOOIE, the Student Organization Outreach and Involvement Experience RSO. She begins her duties today, Thursday, April 1.

Moseby received her M.A. in higher education from the University of Arkansas in December 2017, where she completed her degree while serving as an academic counselor in Upward Bound. She has also worked at Cornell University as a program coordinator for student activities and most recently in the Office of Admissions at the University of Arkansas as the assistant director for diversity recruitment.

Mary Skinner, director for the Office of Student Activities, said, "I am excited to have Chantel join our Office of Student Activities team. I can already tell that she is going to move our programs forward and make creative changes to improve them for all our students. I look forward to working with Chantel."

Registered student organizations provide students the opportunity to form and develop organizations based on a common interest. Students are able to create, govern, budget and plan their own organization and events. Information about current RSOs is available on HogSync. For more information about RSOs or to learn how to form an RSO, contact the Office of Student Activities.
