Stick or Treat: Halloween Flu Vaccine Clinic at Union on Oct. 31

Flu season is creeping up, and the best way to protect against the flu virus is to get your annual flu vaccine.

Pat Walker Health Center has partnered with the Washington County Health Unit to offer a Halloween flu vaccine clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 in the Arkansas Union Food Court.

Anyone who hasn't received the flu vaccine is encouraged to attend. Please bring your insurance card if you have one.

Can't make the flu clinic?

The Allergy, Immunization & Travel clinic also has flu vaccines available. Anyone unable to attend the flu clinic, is encouraged to schedule an appointment at myhealth.uark.edu or 479-575-7723. The health center also offers a Walk-in Flu Clinic, from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces and objects that may be contaminated with germs like the flu.
