The WordPlay Lab in the Department of Psychological Science at the U of A is recruiting 5- and 6-year-old children for a paid research study examining how accents influence children's social preferences.

The session lasts about 30 minutes and takes place in our lab on campus. Compensation of $10 is being offered for participation.

Children will view a series of cartoon faces and listen to them speak. Afterward, we will ask them a series of questions about their social preferences for the individuals they listened to.
