Research Reproducibility and Replicability Forum

Faculty and staff are invited to attend a forum on research reproducibility and replicability from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, in the Arkansas Union Ballroom. Please register at this website by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20. 

Speakers include Griffiths Atungulu of the Department of Food Science, Casey Harris of the Department of Sociology and Doug Rhoads of the Department of Biological Sciences. Dan Sui, vice chancellor of research and innovation, will give a welcome address.

The speakers will address the following questions: 

  • What does reproducibility/replicability mean for your research?
  • What are your primary challenges in achieving reproducibility/replicability?
  • How would advancing reproducibility/replicability make the University of Arkansas a leader in the Signature Research Areas?

Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss these questions as they apply to their own research. 

The event, which is sponsored by the Office of Research and Innovation, free to registered attendees, and a complimentary lunch will be served.
