Exercise Science Doctoral Students to Talk About Their Research Friday

Two University of Arkansas doctoral students in exercise science will give research presentations from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, in Room 311 of the Health, Physical Education and Research Building.
Wesley Haynie will give a presentation titled "Does the Protective Role of PGC-1a Alter the Myogenic Response Following Bupivacaine Injection?" Tyrone Washington is his faculty adviser.
Hyun-Gyu "Sean" Suh will give a presentation titled "Water Intake and Hydration State is Associated with Healthy Adults: NHANES 2008-20012." Stavros Kavouras is his faculty adviser.
The presentations are part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department.
