Registration Open for Wellness Center Krav Maga

Pat Walker Health Center's Wellness and Health Promotion department is offering an eight-week, Krav Maga self-defense course starting Feb. 20 in the Wellness Center.

The class will be held on Tuesday's evening from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and run through April 17.

Krav Maga is the self-defense method that incorporates hand-to-hand combat techniques developed by the Israeli Defense Force. This beginners-level class will cover ways to escape from a vary of attacks like bear hugs, choke holds, and shirt grabs.

Regisitration for the course is required. The cost of the program is $40 for students and $55 for faculty/staff. No prior experience in Krav Maga is required.
