New York Gathering of Alumni

The Arkansas Alumni Association will present a New York Gathering of Alumni, a professional development event, at the Yale Club of New York City on Monday, March 12, featuring guest speakers Dean Kim Needy and professor Ed Pohl.

The Arkansas Alumni Association is proud to bring a New York Gathering of Alumni to the New York City for the first time. A New York Gathering is a professional development event hosted by the University of Arkansas Master of Science in Operations Management Alumni Society and the New York City Chapter. Attendees will receive information on seeking or continuing their graduate studies through the University of Arkansas graduate online programs as well as general updates from the campus and university.

In addition to the guest speakers, the event will feature networking opportunities with fellow alumni. The New York Chapter president, Bailey Carroll, and the MSOM Board director, Kyle Sligar, will provide attendees information on how to get involved, engaged and connected with the chapter and the society.

The event will be held from 7-9 p.m. at the Yale Club of New York City, 50 Vanderbilt Ave., New York, N.Y. 10017. Dress is business casual and hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served. Tickets are $30 for Arkansas Alumni members and $35 for non-members. To learn more and register for the New York Gathering 2018.

Needy is the dean of the Graduate School and International Education. Pohl is head of the Department of Industrial Engineering and the former director of the operations management graduate program.
