FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The U of A campus community is invited to help kick off the 83rd University of Arkansas United Way campaign at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25 in the Arkansas Union Connections Lounge.

The fundraising campaign itself doesn’t begin until Monday, Oct. 2, but the kickoff event is an opportunity for campus members to learn more about the United Way campaign. This year we are introducing new ways to make it even easier to contribute.

Featured speakers will be Chancellor Joe Steinmetz, Dean Stacy Leeds the campaign co-chair and Christina Hinds, from the United Way of Northwest Arkansas.

The theme of this year’s campaign is United We Win, so there will be several games to play and win, as well as a photo booth for Instagram-ready pictures to help spread the word about the campaign.

The Razorback cheerleaders and a mascot will be there to add extra energy and inspiration.

Free cookies, punch and fresh fruit will also be on hand.
