Students present summer research during poster session.

On July 28, students in electrical engineering and computer science and computer engineering presented posters to faculty, staff and students. The presenters consisted of 11 electrical engineering students and two computer science and computer engineering students.

The poster session offered the undergraduate students a way to present their summer research. Each poster described the background and motivation, development, results and future work of a project performed by the student in conjunction with their peers and professors. Faculty, staff and students view the research and interact with the student researcher.

Electrical engineering hosted a second poster session on Aug. 1. This dedicated poster session allowed the students to present their summer research directly to their faculty advisor. This also allowed a second opportunity for faculty, staff and students to view the students' summer research.

A plan is in place to incorporate all engineering disciplines into one poster session in the summer of 2018. For more information, please contact Karin Alvarado, karina@uark.edu
