New IT Help Portal Replacing AskIT Next Week
Photo Submitted

The new IT Help Portal will be released next week, providing a more robust and user-friendly online ticketing system. Starting Tuesday, July 25, the AskIT site at askit.uark.edu will no longer accept new requests and users will be directed to the new system.

The IT Help Portal is the first part of a larger project to implement a campuswide IT service management tool that can ultimately provide everything from online tech support and asset management to a comprehensive knowledge base, change management and more.

Colleges and departments using AskIT-related sites that are not hosted at askit.uark.edu will not be affected during the first phase of this project. To discuss future migration plans for your department's ticketing system, contact Stacy Crotser.

More information about accessing and using the new IT Help Portal will be provided early next week.
