U of A Inspirational Chorale in Concert at Faulkner Performing Arts Center

In its first main stage concert performance in Arkansas this spring, the University of Arkansas Inspirational Chorale will be in concert tonight, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center.

The concert, titled "The Passion According to Inspire," will walk the audience through the last week of Jesus Christ's life. Featuring music from Jesus Christ Superstar the musical and selections from Donald Lawrence will chronicle the events from Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem to the event that occurs on the day that is now celebrated as Easter.

Since the beginning of the fall, the Inspirational Chorale has grown and almost doubled in size, now nearing a 75-voice choir. The hope is that this seamless story's use of music, costuming, narration and vibrant singing will draw you in and not only entertain, but inspire, you!

Tickets are available now. General admission is $10 for adults and $5 students/seniors, available at the Faulkner Performing Arts Center Box Office by calling (479) 575-5387. The Inspirational Chorale is under the direction of Jeffrey Allen Murdock.
