Section of Stadium Drive to Close Friday, Feb. 24
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The section of Stadium Drive from the Leroy Pond Drive roundabout north to West Clinton Drive will be closed from Friday, Feb. 24 until Wednesday, May 10.
The closure is part of the project to straighten Stadium Drive and build a new roundabout at the W. Clinton Drive intersection.
Drivers travelling north on Stadium Dr. from the Fayetteville High School area will have to detour and go west on Leroy Pond Drive to Razorback Road.
Drivers heading south on Stadium Drive will have to detour and go east on W. Clinton Drive, or detour west on Meadow Street to get to Razorback Rd.
Future road closures are expected as the project continues will be announced as soon as possible.
The closure will not affect current Razorback Transit routes, which were changed earlier this year to accommodate future construction.
