Nursing Master's Degree Ranks on Best Value Colleges List

The Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Arkansas was recently ranked No. 21 nationally by collegevaluesonline.com. According to the website, the ranking is based on awards and recognitions, 20-year net return on investment, customization options, teaching methods, internship and scholarship opportunities, related student organizations and any "wow" factors.

The Eleanor Mann School of Nursing in the College of Education and Health Professions at the U of A offers the master's degree with coursework delivered online through U of A Online.

"This is not a surprise to us," said Michael Miller, dean of the College of Education and Health Professions. "Our outstanding nursing faculty have worked hard to ensure high quality programs while containing costs."

The nursing school also offers a Doctor of Nursing Practice and an R.N. to B.S.N. online as well as a bachelor's degree delivered on campus. The programs are nationally accredited by the Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education.
